Window Cleaning Services. DT Cleaning have been established window cleaners in and around Waterlooville, since 1984
and with over 26 years of experience in our trade, that means that our clients can expect to receive a great service. 'Cleaning Windows' is a title from a very old song now, and over the last 26 years or so, I have seen many George Formby's come and go. The fact is this: CLEANING WINDOWS IS A TRADE AND A SKILL - Yes you can learn how to do it properly, but the sad truth is many never will, and many never do.
Believe it or not, cleaning windows for a living is not just some fill in job that you can do, although some believe it is. There are big differences between professionals and amateurs, and when the winter days set in, and your fingers are freezing cold, and the wind is cold around your ears, it is then when George and his mate retire to the luxury of a warm room and wait for summer to arrive again. You can read more about us and what we do besides cleaning windows, because it's important to have confidence in the business you have working for you.
We have outlined what services are included within our window cleaning portfolio below, and how we deal with our customers, both domestic and commercial. The normal areas that we cover are:
Chichester, Clanfield, Horndean, Cowplain, Waterlooville, Purbrook and Widley.
If you however live outside of these immediate areas, please contact us and we will try to help you out.
How do we clean the windows?
Washing windows the traditional way using applicator mops and squeegees, and making sure that the glass is clean (including the corners). We wipe around your frames and sills, so you are not left with messy drips and watermarks from the water used.
Our normal schedule is
Based upon the weather (that's the sad part about the UK) we usually call every 4 weeks for domestic properties, and depending upon properties, this schedule can vary according to each of the individual needs, but generally speaking, for pubs, offices and shops, this would be weekly, or fortnightly, again dependant on certain factors.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are insured for Public & Employers Liability. A copy of our certificate is available for inspection by any existing customers wishing to see it. You can learn more about Public Liability Insurance, and why any cleaning company should have public liability insurance.
What we cover when cleaning your windows?
We wipe down ALL your window frames and sills. We clean ALL the glass, not just the bits we like. We do NOT finish in five minutes after banging ladders around to make it sound good. Currently we are only taking on ground floor properties now, but depending on the property and its location, we are still happy to see if we can help you.
What happens if I'm not in when you call?
Providing we can access the property, then that is not a problem. We will clean your windows, and leave an invoice and either arrange to call back for payment, or accept payment through Bank Giro Credit and online services.
Do you clean soffits and fascias?
Yes we do. You can view the gutter and fascia cleaning page where you can find out more about this service, and why customers choose DT Cleaning to do this for them.
Window Cleaning is a recognised trade and a skill. Although we support reputable window cleaning services, we do not endorse, nor support those who have not bothered to obtain the legal requirement of certain insurances, and work as a bona-fide business. Your window cleaner should be happy to provide a certificate of Public Liability (which is just one recommended trading requirement) and if they cannot show you this, the chances are that should an accident, or damage occur on your property, you may be left losing out, if they cannot pay for damages.
